Ana Leonor Carvalho
With over 10 years of experience in the field, Ana Leonor is the founder of the Ana Ca. brand and our academy.
She was one of the make-up artists chosen to participate in the Mastered Programme led by Val Garland in 2015.
She worked for several years with make-up brands such as MAC Cosmetics and Bobbi Brown, having been part of the backstage teams for Portugal Fashion and Moda Lisboa.
She was also part of the teaching staff at the Porto Fashion School.
Today, she dedicates herself to training new professionals, with a modern, technical, and very creative approach.
Her greatest reward is witnessing the success of her students.
She has a strong sense of community and believes that all artists have space to succeed.

Joana Oliveira
With over 10 years of experience in professional makeup, Joana specialises in bridal makeup and has also worked in television (RTP and Porto Canal), at the Porto Fashion School, and on various editorials for major brands.
Her mission as a trainer is to impart not only up-to-date and effective techniques but also the confidence, artistic vision, and discipline necessary for each student to grow and find their own style in the beauty market.

Antónia Rosa
A name that needs no introduction, Antónia Rosa is a historic figure in Portuguese makeup. With several national and international awards, she is responsible for dozens of campaigns, covers, and fashion weeks. With over 40 years of experience in the field, she is the creative mind behind all the makeup artistry at Lisbon Fashion Week, since its very first edition.
Antónia will be responsible for the super intensive training in our advanced module, which, in addition to giving you all the foundations of makeup, offers you the opportunity to go to Antónia's studio in Lisbon and spend two days of on-site training with her.

Carina Marques
Carina has been a professional make-up artist since 2013, with experience in fashion events, editorial productions, and campaigns. She collaborates with several renowned photographers and brands. In parallel with her freelance work, she developed team management skills in the beauty sector, and currently works as a Retail Manager for a well-known brand. She has experience in social make-up, bridal make-up, and characterisation, always maintaining a technical, rigorous approach focused on excellence.

Are the courses certified?
Yes. Ana Ca. is an academy recognised and certified by the Directorate-General of Statistics on Education and Science, under certified modular training.
Do I need prior makeup experience to apply?
No. The course starts with the fundamental pillars of makeup and develops through the specialities, so you will be able to attend whether you have experience or not.
How many students are there in each class?
Classes are exclusive and small, ensuring personalized support and real progress.
Does the course include materials or a kit?
Yes. In addition to the training, you will have access to a set of exclusive offers to support your journey:

Which brands do you work with?
We work with a variety of brands and are always looking for new products to explore and improve our work. Some of the brands we work with include: MAC COSMETICS, MAKE UP FOREVER, MAQPRO, KRYOLAN, URBAN DECAY, INGLOT, BOBBI BROWN, KIKO MILANO, DIOR, YSL, ARMANI, ESTEE LAUDER, among many others.
Is there an age limit to participate?
No. The training is open to all people over 18 years of age who wish to learn makeup in a serious, artistic, and professional manner.
Are there assessments during the course?
Yes. There are ongoing practical assessments, creative challenges, and a final practical assessment for certification. The focus is on ensuring technical and artistic development.
Can I pay for the course in installments?
Yes. We offer installment payment plans. Enrollment is only confirmed after payment of the registration fee.
The diploma and certificate are also issued after full payment of the course.
Where do the classes take place?
At our Academy, located on Rua de Santana, in Leça do Balio (very close to the city center of Maia).
Does the academy only develop the artistic side, or does it also help with the professional aspect?
Yes, we have exclusive modules on:

Does the course include an internship?
Internship opportunities (non-mandatory) are available for projects, partnerships, or initiatives integrated within the Ana Ca. Beauty universe, subject to profile selection and the nature of these projects.
